why lowercase letters, raph?

let me precede this with – i only do it online. i don’t do it in my essays or anything like that.

but i’ve developed this grammatically nasty habit of writing entirely in lowercase letters. i’m not to lazy to use my shift key and i am aware that all those red squiggly lines pepper my writings.

i’m a very aesthetically driven person. i know what appeals to me visually and what does not. and for some reason, seeing all my letters tiny without capital letters throwing sentences out of balance is just nicely symmetrical enough in my mind to justify doing it.

i only do it online because it only feels right doing it online. this sort of avant-garde, ocd lunacy would not be allowed in the rigid confines of a uni essay or official document. but the internet is freedom and openness, and i feel comfortable with expressing this tiny bit of my own personal rational insanity here.
